Chapitre 1
Unlocking Your Inner Manifesting Power
Have you ever felt that nagging sensation that there's more to life than what you're experiencing? You're not alone. For over twenty years, Carolyn Boyes has been transforming lives through the art of manifesting-a practice that has helped countless people, including celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Jim Carrey, achieve their deepest desires. The Art of Manifesting isn't just another self-help trend; it's a time-tested method that has been embraced by the wisest minds throughout human history. What makes this approach so powerful is its foundation in universal principles that anyone can access. By creating powerful mental images infused with intention and desire, you can transform your reality from the inside out. While most people stumble through life accidentally, manifesting puts you firmly in the driver's seat of your destiny, allowing you to deliberately choose which doors to open and which paths to follow.
Chapitre 2
The Awakening: Recognizing Your Inherent Power
Imagine sitting in a cafe like Roshana did, feeling trapped by money worries, relationship conflicts, and a job you hate. Many of us share this feeling, believing we're subject to forces beyond our control. We seek power in external things-money, status, possessions-when the true source of power has been within us all along.
Life isn't meant to be constant suffering. Throughout history, visionaries and thought leaders have developed techniques to help people tap into the power of their thoughts and imagination. Despite seemingly impossible circumstances, figures like Charles Dickens, who rose from child labor in a boot-blacking factory to become one of history's greatest authors, or Nelson Mandela, who emerged from 27 years of imprisonment to lead his nation toward reconciliation rather than revenge, demonstrate that our circumstances don't determine our destiny-our choices do.
You are unique and deserve happiness. The true measure of success isn't what you own but your level of joy. If you're unhappy, you're not using your power correctly-but it's never too late to change course. Like Truman Burbank in The Truman Show, many of us live in a kind of trance until we decide to wake up and see that another reality exists beyond our self-imposed limitations.
All the power you need exists within you right now. The universe is made of atoms-the same atoms that compose your body-all sharing the same substance: light or creative life force. Though you may feel separate, you're connected to everything through the Law of Oneness, which states that everything in the universe is interconnected because it all springs from the same source. Both material and spiritual realms are joined, including things, people, thoughts, and feelings.
Working alongside this principle is the Law of Attraction, which tells us that like attracts like. You attract into your life whatever you focus on, both consciously and unconsciously. Your thoughts and feelings emit vibrations to the universe. Since birth, you've been co-creating your life with the universe, whether aware of it or not. To attract happiness, you must vibrate at the same frequency as happiness.
When you begin to conceive of a new life, truly believe it will happen, and act toward it, you begin vibrating different thoughts to the universe, attracting different experiences. Your past doesn't determine your future. All the power you need for happiness exists now. Only your belief in limitation restricts your personal power.
Chapitre 3
Desire: The Fuel for Manifestation
Manifestation works like a stonemason carving marble-first seeing the image in imagination, then transferring it into reality through persistent action. You are the stonemason, your imagination is your tool, and the life force of the universe is your material. Whether you realize it or not, you're always manifesting. Learning intentional manifestation means no longer being subject to unconscious creation.
The first step in manifesting is knowing what you want. Ask yourself: What do you want in your life? Do you want to have, be, know, experience, do something, or let go of something? What's missing that would make you happy? What's present that no longer brings happiness?
Most people waste power focusing on what they don't want. Two fundamental principles of manifesting are: what you focus on is what you'll get, and what you resist will persist. You create the world you expect to create. Every complaint reinforces what you don't want. Instead, focus on creating your desired life.
When you rush around never allowing time to be still, you focus very narrowly-as if seeing life on a small phone screen. But around that screen, there is more going on. When you are still and let your awareness open up, you give yourself the space to connect with your deepest desires.
Try this simple practice to expand your awareness: Be still, close your eyes and breathe. As your body relaxes and breath deepens, let your awareness open naturally. Notice your surroundings-sounds, smells, subtle light changes-even with closed eyes. Imagine universal light flooding your body, then expanding to fill your country, the world, and ultimately the entire universe. In this expanded awareness, ask yourself what you truly desire.
To think more consciously about what you want to change, examine different areas of your life: health, relationships, career, life purpose, wealth, family, and spirituality. Rate your happiness in each area on a scale of one to ten. Consider how balanced your life is and project into the future-if things continue unchanged, how will these areas look in ten or twenty years?
Once you've identified what's important to change, write your desire in a single sentence: "I desire xxx." Then ask yourself: Why do I want this? This often reveals an underlying feeling-love, happiness, fulfillment. Ask if this desire is truly the best means of achieving that feeling.
Transform your desires into aims by stating them as if they're happening right now: "I now have xxx" or "I am now xxx." By using present tense with "NOW," the universe recognizes your desire as something to manifest immediately. Choose your words carefully-negative phrasing like "I am not sad" still pictures sadness in your mind, while "I am happy" produces good feelings.
Remember the Law of Vibration: everything in the universe is energy vibrating at different speeds-including humans. You are like a magnet, attracting what you are. The universe responds precisely to your emotional frequency, bringing experiences that exactly match your vibration. To manifest positive things, take positive actions and cultivate joy, gratitude, love, and compassion.
Chapitre 4
The Imagination Workshop: Creating Your Future Reality
Manifesting requires aligning your conscious mind (willpower) and subconscious mind (imagination). Your conscious mind acts as the captain giving commands, while your subconscious is the crew that steers the ship. The subconscious only follows clear instructions with positive feelings attached. If your vision is unclear or has negative associations, your subconscious will revert to familiar patterns.
Your subconscious runs and heals the body, stores memories, produces feelings, houses intuition and instincts, follows our directions, communicates telepathically, and functions as our imagination. It doesn't think in words but in pictures, symbols and feelings.
A simple exercise demonstrates imagination's power: Hold both hands parallel with palms up, then imagine heavy books on your right hand while a balloon lifts your left hand. Upon opening your eyes, you'll notice your hands have separated-the right lower than the left-purely through imagination's influence. Similarly, if you imagine slicing a lemon and sucking on a quarter, your mouth becomes dry because your subconscious responds to the detailed mental image as though it were real.
To manifest effectively, create a "future memory" or "future piece of evidence"-a rich, detailed mental picture of your desire fulfilled. Make it specific enough that you'll recognize when it manifests. Consider all sensory details: colors, sounds, tastes, smells, and any dialogue.
Creating positive emotional associations with your vision is crucial. As you visualize your desired outcome, deliberately fill your body with positive emotions like joy and excitement, as if you've already achieved your goal. This is where many people fail in their manifestation attempts-they visualize the outcome but associate it with negative emotions.
Consider Rhianna, who failed to reach her target weight because while she visualized being slim, she yearned for chocolate cake and associated dieting with pain. Her subconscious chose immediate pleasure over future weight loss. Or Ted, whose business success was blocked because he feared working hard would harm his health. His subconscious protected his health by preventing him from working extra hours. He succeeded only after visualizing a balanced approach by taking on a business partner.
Remember the Law of Correspondence: "As above so below. As within, so without"-our outer world reflects our inner world. If your outer world is chaotic, it's because your inner world is chaotic. To manifest effectively, you must choose the focus of your thoughts carefully, as they directly shape your future experiences.
Also important is the Law of Reversed Effect, which teaches that the harder you try to do something, the worse your results will be. This happens because trying implies an assumption of failure. True manifesting is an effortless process that occurs naturally when both minds work in harmony.
Chapitre 5
The Relaxation Gateway: Accessing Your Manifesting Power
Relaxation is essential for manifesting your desires. When you slow down and relax, your entire being changes-your breath deepens, your brainwaves slow, and you access the powerful alpha state. In normal daily life, your brainwaves typically show activity between fourteen and thirty Hz. When you enter the alpha state, this activity slows to between seven and fourteen Hz.
You naturally fall in and out of alpha state throughout the day while daydreaming or falling asleep. Any form of relaxation, meditation, or hypnosis can induce this state. Hypnotists utilize alpha state because it makes you less critical, more open, and more imaginative-creating stronger communication with your subconscious mind through increased right-brain activity.
By practicing stillness, you train yourself to access the alpha state at will. This practice offers many benefits for manifestation: becoming aware of higher frequencies, expanding consciousness and creativity, and accessing intuition and inner truth. Most importantly, manifesting works best when you visualize your desires in a relaxed state while feeling the positive emotions of achievement.
Your breath is incredibly powerful-it determines whether you live or die in the material world. By deepening and controlling your breath through relaxation practices, you can change the vibration you emit to the universe and attract miracles. Deep breathing helps you access feelings of inner peace and stay present in the moment.
Try this simple relaxation method: Sit and close your eyes. Notice your breathing and where you feel it in your body. Allow your breath to naturally slow and deepen as your body relaxes. Let each part of your body relax sequentially-head, face, neck, chest, arms, hands, stomach, and legs. To enter a deeper alpha state, count backward from one hundred to one, telling yourself you're going deeper with each number.
Once relaxed, use this powerful technique: Visualize your desire as if it's already happened, seeing every detail sharply. First experience it through your own eyes, then switch perspective to view yourself in the scene like watching a film. Freeze this image and imagine holding it like a framed photograph. Float above your future timeline, identify when you wish to manifest this desire, and drop the picture into that future point. Watch as your entire future rearranges to accommodate this new "future memory." Thank the universe in advance before opening your eyes.
Dropping your visualization into your future tells the universe you trust its methods. Paradoxically, over-attachment to desires prevents manifestation because it reveals doubt in the universe's ability to deliver without your willpower. Letting go while taking aligned action shows both trust and commitment.
Remember the Law of Time and Creation: In the spiritual universe, time doesn't exist as we perceive it. Past, present, and future exist simultaneously, with only the present moment being truly real. Since only the present moment truly exists, we can create future memories that the universe will treat as real, just as it does our past memories.
Chapitre 6
Commitment: The Bridge Between Vision and Reality
When a seed is planted, we trust it will emerge if given proper care, though we can't see what happens beneath the soil. Manifesting works the same way: visualize, trust, then act. Commitment forms the foundation of achievement, showing the universe you believe in what you're manifesting. It means taking daily actions aligned with your stated aims.
Commitment requires action that shows the universe you mean business every day. For each desire, identify a first step in the right direction, however small. Ask yourself: "Will I do whatever it takes to manifest this?" This question reveals what's truly important to you and what inner changes you're willing to make.
Manifesting requires believing in something before it physically exists. While we're taught that reality is what we can touch and see, manifesting demands trusting that your imagined future can materialize. Trust is essential-doubt transforms intentions back into mere hopes. You must believe before having material evidence, making your imagined pictures feel real.
Saying "thank you" with genuine feeling is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. Gratitude is the water for your planted seeds of desire. When you express sincere thanks, it pulls what you desire toward you by telling the universe "I trust you." Practice gratitude daily for small things-food, shelter, relationships, health-even if imperfect.
Practice gratitude by identifying three things you're grateful for each day. Take it further by considering how you contributed to these positive experiences. Each night, express thanks for what manifested today, what happened yesterday, and what you expect tomorrow. Thanking the universe for something not yet happened signals your expectation that it will occur.
The Law of Abundance teaches that thinking and acting abundantly brings rewards from the infinite source. The best way to invite abundance is gratitude for what you already have. Focusing on what you lack creates vibrations that produce more lack. Truly abundant people give freely-directions to strangers, a listening ear, comfort, thoughtful gifts, or help in times of need. They don't expect praise or keep score of their kindnesses.
Learning to receive is as important as giving. Despite receiving countless daily gifts from the universe-sunshine, breath, friendship, opportunities-many struggle with accepting what comes their way. Resistance to receiving often stems from not feeling worthy, social conditioning, or lack of practice. Practice noticing the universe's offerings and actively look for things to be grateful for daily.
Chapitre 7
Belief: The Foundation of Your Manifesting Power
Just as in The Wizard of Oz, where the scarecrow, lion and tin man discovered they already possessed what they sought, our beliefs shape our reality. What we believe becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy-our life accurately reflects our inner world. If we believe the world is fearful, we attract fear; if we believe it's loving, we attract love.
Beliefs are often deeply held and unconscious, developed from early experiences or group influence. Cultural, family and peer beliefs strongly affect what we manifest. Breaking from collective thinking requires intention, which is why training your mind through imagination and visualization is crucial.
The Law of Cause and Effect states that all actions produce corresponding results exactly proportional to them. To change your results, change your actions-continuing the same behaviors will yield the same outcomes. Consider how your current actions lead toward your desired outcome and what new approaches you might take.
The Law of Polarity teaches that when energy manifests in our material world, it divides into pairs-everything has an opposite: love/hate, good/bad, hot/cold. To eliminate something unwanted from your life, identify the limiting beliefs behind it, then focus on their polar opposites.
Recurring patterns in your life-whether in relationships, finances, or emotional cycles-reflect the universe's natural tendency toward patterns. Mental patterns are how our subconscious processes important beliefs, which drive our behavior and what we vibrationally attract. When you notice negative patterns, examine what deep limiting beliefs might underlie them.
Your current life is the one you believe you can create-change your beliefs and you'll change your material world. To uncover limiting beliefs, sit quietly and reflect on past obstacles. Examine what beliefs attracted those obstacles and consider their polar opposites. Question where you feel stuck, what fears hold you back, what you feel incapable of changing, and what you resist changing for fear of judgment.
To transform limiting beliefs, become an evidence seeker. Choose a new belief you wish to hold, then actively search for evidence to prove it true. This shifts your mindset toward genuinely embracing the new belief, manifesting new experiences, thoughts, feelings, people and circumstances.
The words you use reveal your subconscious beliefs. Watch for generalizations using words like "everyone" or "always," limiting beliefs like "It's difficult for people like me," and catastrophizing where you expect the worst outcomes. When you catch yourself using negative language, pause and challenge it.
Research confirms that lucky people exist-they enjoy good relationships, make money, and have fulfilling careers not because of talent but belief. Believing you're lucky is one of the most transformative beliefs. To adopt it, recall times when things went well, fully experience those positive feelings, then amplify them throughout your body.
Many people have blocking beliefs around money, especially those raised with scarcity mindsets. Remember that money is simply energy. If you have money blocks, start small by linking money manifestation to specific material desires. Practice with small amounts first. Create a feeling of flow and abundance by expressing gratitude for bills, writing yourself checks for desired amounts, visualizing increased income, giving gifts generously, and appreciating all money received.
The Law of Compensation states that you receive exactly what you put into life-you reap what you sow. When stating desires, add: "Thank you for manifesting this as long as it's good for me, others around me, and the world as a whole." Everything in our universe is interconnected-your actions, thoughts and desires affect everyone.
Chapitre 8
The Habit of Manifestation: Creating Lasting Change
Your habits define you-your life is the creation of every thought and habit you possess. Since manifesting takes the path of least resistance, changing your life requires building new habits of thinking and action that support your aims. We become loving by being loving, brave by taking brave actions, happy by focusing on happy thoughts.
The Law of Action teaches that it's not enough to want something or visualize it-you must align your action with what you want to manifest by taking active steps. This shows the universe you're serious about your goal and will attract what you want. The step doesn't need to be big; a first step sets your intention, and as opportunities arrive, you can take more steps and form new habits.
Each day revisit your manifests and check your feelings about them. Make it a daily ritual: every morning, reflect on your desired outcome and say it to yourself. Create quiet time away from others to focus. Pause to recognize your successes-something you've done well, made, learned, taught, or caused to happen.
Order helps create successful manifesting. Create daily prompts to remind your subconscious about the life you desire. Make images of what you want through physical or virtual vision boards. Create physical symbols using clay or other media to represent your desires-they don't need to look like what you wish to manifest, just have personal meaning.
A morning ritual can energize you physically, which helps manifest successfully since physical, emotional and spiritual bodies are linked. Look at yourself in the mirror and appreciate that your body constantly repairs and renews itself. Build positive energy by smiling gently, letting that loving energy flow throughout your body, healing and energizing your organs.
As you build manifesting habits, set a clear intention to act with integrity. Some get impatient and try shortcuts to wealth or love, but only working with the loving universe brings happiness. Remember you cannot use manifesting to overcome someone's free will-you can't force someone to love you. Consider carefully what you want to manifest and why. Will it really bring the result you want?
The seven-day program to establish positive habits begins with creating outer order in your home on Monday to support inner order. Tuesday focuses on emotional healing through forgiveness exercises and acts of kindness. Wednesday emphasizes physical wellbeing through movement and nutrition. Thursday centers on heart-opening practices. Friday encourages authentic self-expression. Saturday is for grounding-connecting with nature. Sunday focuses on rest and natural rhythms-disconnecting from electronics and practicing gratitude.
Chapitre 9
The Journey Within: Accessing Your Manifesting Power
Imagine opening a book that leads to a magical door. Stepping through, you enter a peaceful garden with an armchair surrounded by flowers and trees. The garden belongs solely to you-a safe, personal space filled with beautiful sights and scents.
As you follow a golden light through the garden, walking through mist that transforms time and space, you may encounter obstacles like rocky paths and swamps, but the golden light keeps pulling you forward until you reach a vast pool of turquoise, blue and black water that merges with the sky.
At the pool's edge, touching the water creates ripples that reveal glimpses of your life-past events, people, and feelings. The pool offers the opportunity to revisit any event from a new perspective, essentially rewriting your past and creating your future. The future isn't fixed but can be imagined and manifested according to your desires.
You are in the perfect moment right now, a perfect creation of life force. Have faith in your journey, even when facing swamps, rocky paths, or times when the mist obscures your view-you will reach that golden light, and future paths will become straighter and simpler.
Remember that "the world is as you think it is" and to change your world, you must change your thoughts. The eight key steps to manifestation are: AWAKEN to your inherent right to love and happiness; RECOGNISE YOUR POWER as an expression of universal life force; ASK for what you desire without limits; IMAGINE vividly what you want with focused desire; BELIEVE in alignment with your desires before seeing evidence; LET GO of overattachment; ACT confidently toward your goals; and RECEIVE with gratitude while continuing to MANIFEST repeatedly until you believe the evidence of your own eyes.
You have the ability to manifest, change, and create the life you desire. Your journey through The Art of Manifesting is not just about personal transformation-it's about contributing to building a wonderful world for yourself and everyone around you. The power has always been within you. Now is the time to use it.
