Hédi Fried (1924–2022) était une survivante de la Shoah, psychologue et auteure acclamée de Questions que l'on me pose sur l'Holocauste, un mémoire mêlant témoignage historique et réflexion philosophique sur le traumatisme, la résilience et la lutte contre les préjugés.

Née à Sighet (aujourd'hui en Roumanie), Fried a survécu aux camps de concentration d'Auschwitz, de Bergen-Belsen et de Neuengamme aux côtés de sa sœur Livi, avant de s'installer en Suède en tant que réfugiée apatride.

Son travail de psychologue et de fondatrice du Café 84 à Stockholm — un centre de soutien pour les survivants de la Shoah — a nourri sa mission de plusieurs décennies consistant à éduquer la jeunesse sur les atrocités nazies à travers des conférences scolaires et des écrits tels que L'Histoire de Bodri et Skärvor av ett liv (Fragments d'une vie).
