Judy Batalion est l'autrice à succès du New York Times de The Light of Days: The Untold Story of Women Resistance Fighters in Hitler’s Ghettos (publié en français sous le titre Les Résistantes), un ouvrage révolutionnaire de non-fiction historique qui réhabilite les récits de femmes juives ayant orchestré des efforts de résistance pendant la Shoah.
