Este error no indica que la fórmula esté mal escrita, sino que es una señal de las nuevas matrices dinámicas. Ocurre cuando una fórmula intenta volcar múltiples resultados en celdas adyacentes (el llamado spill range), pero encuentra un obstáculo en su camino. Excel requiere que el rango donde se van a "derramar" los datos esté completamente vacío; si hay texto, una celda combinada o incluso un espacio invisible, la fórmula se bloquea y muestra el aviso de desbordamiento.
Los principales culpables suelen ser las celdas combinadas, que impiden que la matriz se expanda, y las tablas oficiales de Excel (creadas con Control + T), ya que las matrices dinámicas y las tablas estructuradas no son compatibles entre sí actualmente. Otros bloqueos comunes incluyen caracteres invisibles como espacios en blanco, fórmulas que devuelven cadenas vacías o el uso de rangos demasiado grandes (como seleccionar una columna entera de un millón de filas) que exceden los límites de la hoja de cálculo.
Ambos son operadores de control para matrices dinámicas. El símbolo de la arroba (@) se utiliza para la "intersección implícita", funcionando como un freno de mano que obliga a la fórmula a devolver un solo valor en lugar de una lista, lo cual es útil para evitar desbordamientos no deseados en diseños apretados. Por el contrario, la almohadilla (#) es el operador de rango derramado; se coloca al final de una referencia (ej. A2#) para indicarle a Excel que debe tomar automáticamente todo el bloque de resultados generado por una fórmula dinámica, sin importar cuánto crezca o se encoja.
Estas herramientas permiten pasar de ser un "mecánico" de Excel a un analista, ya que procesan las peticiones en lenguaje natural. En lugar de que el usuario tenga que escribir fórmulas complejas y limpiar manualmente las celdas obstructoras, la IA procesa los datos de forma lógica y entrega resultados ya limpios y organizados. Esto elimina la necesidad de depurar errores técnicos de desbordamiento, ya que la IA se encarga de la estructura y el diseño de la salida de datos.
El primer paso es hacer clic en el icono amarillo de advertencia que aparece junto a la celda con el error y seleccionar la opción "Seleccionar celdas obstructoras". Excel resaltará automáticamente qué es lo que está estorbando. Si el obstáculo es una tabla, se recomienda convertirla en rango; si es una celda combinada, lo ideal es usar la opción "Centrar en la selección" en el formato de celdas. En general, la regla de oro es "darle aire" a las fórmulas, asegurándose de que tengan suficiente espacio vacío hacia abajo y hacia la derecha.
