Esto crea un "título flotante" que deja al comprador en un limbo legal y fiscal, haciéndolo vulnerable a multas ante el DMV y problemas de propiedad, ya que posee el objeto físico pero no el derecho legal reconocido por el Estado.
En sistemas operativos como macOS, la ausencia de una función nativa de "siempre arriba" (always on top) obliga a los usuarios a cambiar constantemente de contexto, lo que actúa como un cuello de botella logístico para la atención. Al no poder anclar ventanas de referencia como PDFs o notas mientras se trabaja en otra aplicación, se pierde el control sobre la interfaz y la eficiencia del flujo de trabajo, lo que lleva a los usuarios a recurrir a herramientas de terceros como Floaty para recuperar esa autonomía.
La blockchain y los tokens digitales funcionan como el antídoto tecnológico al título flotante porque permiten un registro inmutable y transparente de cada transferencia. A diferencia de los registros físicos que pueden omitirse, un activo tokenizado requiere que cada cambio de dueño quede grabado en una cadena de custodia sólida, lo que garantiza la procedencia y evita que la propiedad "salte" de manera ilegal o anónima.
Para tener éxito y escalar en estas plataformas, el vendedor debe proyectar una certeza absoluta de propiedad para reducir la carga cognitiva y el miedo del comprador. Esto se logra mediante la "transparencia radical": documentar no solo el estado físico del producto, sino también la legitimidad del título o certificados de autenticidad, asegurando que la transferencia será inmediata y sin fricciones legales.
Mientras que la propiedad tradicional exige que el usuario se encargue de la gestión legal, el registro y el mantenimiento del activo (evitando que el título "flote"), el modelo de suscripción elimina estas preocupaciones al trasladar la propiedad al proveedor. En este esquema, el usuario paga únicamente por el acceso y el uso, delegando el riesgo de obsolescencia y los problemas de registro a cambio de un servicio garantizado y siempre actualizado.
