William Dalrymple, el autor superventas de La Anarquía: El implacable ascenso de la Compañía de las Indias Orientales, es un célebre historiador y experto en la historia colonial del sur de Asia. Nacido en Edimburgo y formado en el Trinity College de Cambridge, Dalrymple ha pasado décadas viviendo en Nueva Delhi.
