Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie es una aclamada novelista nigeriana e ícono feminista, autora de La flor púrpura, una innovadora novela de aprendizaje que explora la familia, la religión y la agitación política en la Nigeria poscolonial. Nacida en Enugu en 1977 y criada en el campus de la Universidad de Nigeria, Adichie se basa en su herencia igbo y en sus experiencias de primera mano sobre la transición social para dar forma a este debut emocionalmente cargado.
