Oliver Burkeman

Oliver Burkeman is a British journalist and author who writes about productivity, psychology, happiness, and the limits of self-optimization. He is best known for Four Thousand Weeks, The Antidote, and the Guardian column “This Column Will Change Your Life,” which helped establish him as a prominent skeptical voice in self-help.

Biografía y Trayectoria del Autor

Oliver Burkeman was born in Liverpool in 1975 and grew up in a household where newspapers, especially The Guardian, carried real prestige. The impulse to publish appeared early: as a primary-school child he made one-page newsletters for classmates. He was educated at Huntington School in York and went on to Christ’s College, Cambridge, where editing the student paper Varsity gave him crucial preparation for journalism.
