Joe Abercrombie

Nacido: December 31, 1974 – Lancaster, Lancashire, England

Joe Abercrombie is an English fantasy novelist best known for The First Law universe, including The Blade Itself, Best Served Cold, and the Age of Madness trilogy. His fiction focuses on gritty, morally complex epic fantasy, and he is widely regarded as a leading contemporary voice in grimdark literature.

Biografía y Trayectoria del Autor

Joe Abercrombie was born in Lancaster, England, on December 31, 1974, and educated at Lancaster Royal Grammar School before studying psychology at the University of Manchester. In his own account, he was the kind of teenager who played video games, rolled dice, and drew maps of imaginary places, habits that would later feed directly into his fiction. After university he moved to London, started out in TV post-production, and then spent about a decade working as a freelance film editor on documentaries, music projects, and live events. That period gave him the time and discipline to return seriously to fiction. ((https://joeabercrombie.com/author/))
