Alex Edmans is a British finance scholar whose career has moved between academia, markets, and public debate. He studied Economics and Management at Oxford, spent two years at Morgan Stanley in London and New York, and then completed a PhD in finance at MIT Sloan as a Fulbright Scholar. After joining Wharton in 2007 and receiving tenure in 2013, he moved to London Business School, where he became Professor of Finance and developed a research portfolio spanning corporate finance, responsible business, and behavioural finance.
