Hey there, I'm Sunny Bonnell, and along with my co-author Ashleigh Hansberger, we're here to challenge everything you thought you knew about success. Our book, "Rare Breed," isn't your typical business guide. It's a manifesto for the misfits, the rebels, and anyone who's ever felt like they don't quite fit in. Let me take you back to where it all began. Ashleigh and I met online in the early 2000s, back when the internet was still making those screechy dial-up noises. We were just two small-town girls with big dreams, bonded by our shared entrepreneurial spirit. We both came from families of self-made business owners, so you could say it was in our blood. Like many of you, we started on the traditional path. College seemed like the logical next step. But something didn't feel right. We were restless, itching to make our mark on the world. So, we did what any sensible young adults would do – we dropped out and started our own branding agency. Now, I won't sugarcoat it. Those early days were tough. We faced rejection, doubt, and more than our fair share of setbacks. There were moments when we seriously considered throwing in the towel. But then, something happened that changed everything.
