Geboren: February 10, 1972 – London, England, United Kingdom
Ian Leslie is a British author and journalist who writes about human behavior, communication, technology, and culture. His books include Born Liars, Curious, Conflicted, and John & Paul: A Love Story in Songs. Through essays, newsletters, and books, he has become a widely read interpreter of psychology and modern social life.
Ian Leslie, born in 1972, has described his upbringing as loving and secure rather than affluent. His first career was in advertising, where he worked as a communication strategist in London and New York; that immersion in how audiences think, feel, and respond became a practical education in human behaviour. His first book, To Be President, appeared in 2008 as an account of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and he also became known in British media as an analyst of American politics.
