Greer Hendricks is an American novelist and former editor best known for co-authoring bestselling psychological thrillers with Sarah Pekkanen, including The Wife Between Us, An Anonymous Girl, and The Golden Couple. Her fiction focuses on suspense, relationships, and deception, and her books have appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.
Greer Hendricks came to fiction through a long apprenticeship in books and magazines. Raised in San Francisco, she studied psychology at Connecticut College and later earned a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. After early work at Allure, she built a nearly twenty-year career at Simon & Schuster, eventually serving as vice president and senior editor. There she helped shape books by commercially successful writers including Jennifer Weiner, Lauren Weisberger, and Stephen Chbosky, developing the editorial precision, pacing, and instinct for reader expectation that would later define her own suspense fiction.
