Dr. Judy Ho is a clinical and forensic neuropsychologist whose writing focuses on attachment, self-sabotage, relationships, and parenting. She is the author of Stop Self-Sabotage and The New Rules of Attachment, and co-author of I’ll Give It to You Straightish. A tenured Pepperdine professor, she is a two-time National Institute of Mental Health Services Research Award recipient.
Dr. Judy Ho has built her career at the intersection of clinical science, teaching, and public communication. Trained first at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned dual undergraduate degrees in psychology and business administration in 2001, she went on to complete a master’s degree in clinical psychology at San Diego State University in 2004 and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 2007 through the joint San Diego State University and University of California San Diego School of Medicine program. Postdoctoral work at UCLA and National Institute of Mental Health fellowships further anchored her in research-based practice, and those credentials later converged in her roles as a triple board-certified clinical and forensic neuropsychologist, a tenured professor at Pepperdine University, and a California-based private practitioner.
