Beth Kempton is a British author, entrepreneur and Japanologist whose work grew out of long study, travel and reinvention rather than an early literary career. Trained in Japanese, with two degrees in the subject, she spent years living and working in Japan and traveling widely before building a body of work focused on how people live, create and move through change. A notable turning point came when she translated a broad life of international experience into the first of her nonfiction books, and later into Do What You Love, the education business she founded to help people rethink work, creativity and personal freedom. She has said that although she loved words all her life, she did not begin writing books until she was nearly forty. ((https://bethkempton.com/about/?PageSpeed=noscript))
