    Blythe : Bah écoute, c'est tout sauf surprenant. J'ai lu un truc là-dessus, et en fait, c'est presque une question de biologie. On dit souvent qu'il faut couper les ponts pour guérir, mais au boulot, tu n'as pas ce luxe. Ton cerveau reçoit une dose d'ocytocine — l'hormone de l'attachement — à chaque fois que tu croises son regard ou que tu entends sa voix. C'est un peu comme essayer de décrocher d'une addiction alors que le produit est juste là, sur le bureau d'en face.

    Nia : Ah ouais, quand même... Je comprends mieux pourquoi elle se sent aussi mal. C'est comme si elle n'avait jamais d'espace pour respirer, en fait.

    Blythe : C'est ça. Et le piège, c'est de croire qu'on peut "faire avec" sans rien changer. Figure-toi que près de 25 % des gens ont déjà eu une aventure avec un collègue. Ça fait énormément de monde qui se retrouve à gérer ce qu'on appelle le "résidu émotionnel" entre deux réunions.
