    Parkinson's Law states that work expands to fill the time available for its completion. If you allot two hours for a task that only requires one, you will likely find yourself stretching the work to occupy the full two hours. To combat this, the script suggests setting clear, tighter time limits and using "Time Blocking" to create a psychological commitment to finishing tasks within specific windows.

    Deep Work refers to professional activities performed in a state of distraction-free concentration that push your cognitive capabilities to their limit, creating new value and improving your skills. In contrast, Shallow Work consists of non-cognitively demanding, logistical-style tasks like answering routine emails or attending unproductive meetings. The script emphasizes that Deep Work is a "superpower" in the 21st century because it strengthens neural connections through a process called myelination.

    The 90-15 rule is based on "ultradian rhythms," which are natural energy cycles the body goes through. The brain can typically maintain high focus for about 90 minutes before needing a break. By working intensely for 90 minutes and then taking a "true break" for 15 to 20 minutes—away from all screens—you align with your body's physiology. This prevents mental exhaustion and allows the brain's "default mode network" to process information and spark creative ideas.

    Maintaining a flow state is difficult when distracting thoughts or new ideas pop up mid-task. Instead of stopping to type out a detailed note, which breaks concentration, the script recommends using Transkriptor for "strategic documentation." You can quickly record a voice note of the idea, and the tool will later convert it into organized text in over 100 languages. This allows you to "empty" your mind of side thoughts safely without losing your current cognitive momentum.

    The 1-3-5 Rule is a simplified method for prioritizing tasks and avoiding the trap of an endless to-do list. It suggests that each day you should commit to accomplishing exactly one big task (the "frog" or most difficult task), three medium tasks, and five small tasks. This structure ensures that you make significant progress on your most important goals while still managing smaller, necessary daily obligations.
