Dambisa Moyo

出生: February 02, 1969 – Lusaka, Lusaka Province, Zambia

Dambisa Moyo is a Zambian-born economist and author who writes on global development, macroeconomics, geopolitics, and capital markets. She is best known for Dead Aid, Winner Take All, and Edge of Chaos, books that challenged orthodox views on aid, resources, and growth and reached bestseller lists.

传记与作者历程

Dambisa Moyo emerged from Lusaka, Zambia, with an academic path that moved steadily toward economics and public policy. After earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and an MBA in finance at American University in Washington, she completed an MPA at Harvard Kennedy School and a DPhil in economics at Oxford. Early professional experience at the World Bank, followed by eight years at Goldman Sachs, gave her direct exposure to development finance, debt markets, and the practical workings of global capital. That combination of African upbringing, formal training, and market experience became the foundation of a career that would bridge economics, policy, investing, and authorship.
