Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon in particle physics where the state of one subatomic particle cannot be described independently of another, regardless of the distance between them. Albert Einstein was famously bothered by this concept because it suggests an instant connection that seems to defy classical physics. While a pair of gloves has a fixed state from the start, entangled particles remain in a hazy state until observed, at which point they instantly coordinate their properties across any distance.
Superposition is the quantum physics concept where particles exist in a state of being multiple things at once, such as both 'left' and 'right,' until they are actually observed.
