    At the heart of Ayurveda lies the concept of doshas - the three primary energies that govern our physical and mental processes. Vata, Pitta, and Kapha are present in everyone, but usually one or two dominate. Understanding your unique constitution is the first step towards achieving balance. Vata, composed of air and ether, governs movement and change. If you're creative, quick-thinking, and prone to anxiety or insomnia, you might have a dominant Vata dosha. Pitta, made of fire and water, rules metabolism and transformation. Those with strong Pitta tend to be ambitious and intelligent but may struggle with anger or inflammation. Kapha, earth and water, provides structure and stability. Kapha-dominant individuals are often calm and nurturing but can be prone to lethargy or weight gain. To determine your dosha, pay attention to your physical characteristics, emotional tendencies, and how you respond to different environments. For instance, do you feel invigorated or drained in hot weather? Do you have a quick temper or a calm demeanor? These clues can help you identify your dominant dosha and guide your Ayurvedic practices.
