A machine can confirm a button works, but it cannot determine if a workflow is confusing or if a layout feels "clunky." Human testers act as "guardians" who use exploratory testing to find subjective issues and ensure the software meets ethical standards, ultimately focusing on whether the product actually makes the user's life easier.
