    Without a shared visual nerve center like an Obeya, self-organization under Holacracy can become messy, with people potentially running in opposite directions. Because team members manage multiple roles, they need a centralized place to identify top priorities and avoid siloing information in private inboxes. Marrying the visual power of Obeya with Holacracy ensures that distributed authority leads to coordinated action rather than confusion.
