When we look at the Andromeda Galaxy, we are seeing light that left its stars two million years ago. Consequently, the further into space we look, the further back into the history of the universe we are seeing, allowing us to observe the Cosmos as it existed billions of years ago.
The Heike crabs possess shells that resemble human faces due to centuries of artificial selection by local fishermen.
