Liz Wiseman is a leadership researcher and executive advisor focused on collective intelligence, talent development, and high-impact performance. She is best known for the bestselling books Multipliers, Rookie Smarts, and Impact Players. A former Oracle executive, her work has influenced leadership development practices in major organizations worldwide.
Liz Wiseman is a California-born leadership researcher, executive adviser, and author whose work grew out of the intersection of business education and operating experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in organizational behavior from Brigham Young University, then joined Oracle after graduate school. What she expected would be a short stop became a 17-year stretch inside one of Silicon Valley’s defining companies. At Oracle she helped build the company’s training function, rose to become vice president of Oracle University, and later led human resource development globally. That period gave her an unusually close view of how different leaders either expanded or constrained the intelligence around them, a contrast that would shape her later writing and consulting work.
