À propos de l'auteur

Rufi Thorpe est l'autrice de Margo's Got Money Troubles, une romancière américaine acclamée pour ses explorations incisives de l'identité, de la maternité et des complexités de la féminité moderne. Le livre est un bildungsroman féministe qui aborde les thèmes de l'insécurité financière, de la maternité célibataire et du travail du sexe avec humour et une honnêteté sans faille — des sujets façonnés par les propres expériences de Thorpe face aux coûts de garde d'enfants et aux pressions économiques en tant que jeune mère.
