Jean-Paul Sartre (1905-1980), auteur de L'Être et le Néant, était un philosophe existentialiste pionnier et un écrivain lauréat du prix Nobel dont les œuvres ont redéfini la pensée du XXe siècle.

Intellectuel né à Paris, Sartre a étudié à l'École Normale Supérieure et a développé son cadre existentialiste à travers ses engagements avec Husserl et Heidegger, mettant l'accent sur la liberté radicale, la responsabilité humaine et l'absence de sens intrinsèque.
