He founded and leads Life.Church and has written books including Winning the War in Your Mind, Dangerous Prayers, and The Christian Atheist. His work has reached millions through preaching, publishing, and leadership podcasting.

Craig Groeschel was born in Houston in 1967 and grew up in southern Oklahoma, attending Ardmore High School before earning a marketing degree from Oklahoma City University, where he studied on a tennis scholarship. He later completed a Master of Divinity at Phillips Theological Seminary. He married Amy in 1991 and entered ministry that same year as an associate pastor in the United Methodist Church. A major turning point came in January 1996, when he and Amy started Life.Church in a two-car garage in Edmond, Oklahoma. What began as a small local congregation developed into a large multisite church with a broad national and online presence.
