Biographie et Parcours de l'Auteur

Bill O’Reilly was born in New York City on September 10, 1949, and raised on Long Island, a background that later informed the plainspoken public persona for which he became known. He studied history at Marist College, graduating in 1971, taught high school for two years, and then earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1976. In the years that followed, he worked through local television jobs in places including Scranton, Dallas, Denver, Boston, and New York before moving into network roles at CBS News and ABC News. A first major turning point came with Inside Edition in 1989; another followed after a midcareer return to school at Harvard’s Kennedy School and his move to Fox News in 1996.
