生年: November 10, 1960 – Portchester, Hampshire, England
Neil Gaiman is an English author and screenwriter known for fantasy, horror, comics, and children’s literature. His notable works include The Sandman, American Gods, Good Omens, and Coraline. Widely translated and adapted for film and television, he has won major honors including Hugo, Nebula, and Bram Stoker awards.
Neil Gaiman was born in Portchester, Hampshire, in 1960 and grew up in Sussex, where reading became the habit that shaped his childhood. He attended Whitgift School and moved into freelance journalism, an apprenticeship that gave him his first opening in publishing through a Duran Duran paperback biography in 1984. A more decisive turn came when he met artist Dave McKean: their collaboration on Violent Cases led to Black Orchid for DC, and then to The Sandman, the series that established Gaiman as a major new voice in adult fantasy comics.
