Kory Kogon is a FranklinCovey productivity expert whose work focuses on time management, project management, and communication skills. She coauthored The 5 Choices, a Wall Street Journal bestseller, and also coauthored Project Management for the Unofficial Project Manager and Presentation Advantage, books aimed at practical workplace productivity and communication.
Kory Kogon’s public biography is defined less by literary self-mythology than by a long operating career that later fed directly into her writing. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she began in sales, moved into training, and eventually held senior roles in a franchise organization. Before joining FranklinCovey, she spent six years as executive vice president of worldwide operations at AlphaGraphics, where she worked on franchise startup support, staff development, profitability, global ISO 9000 implementation, and the rollout of a companywide learning system. That mix of frontline experience and executive responsibility became the practical base of her later work on productivity, leadership, and execution.
