Jeffrey Davis built his career at the intersection of literary study, contemplative practice, and research into human potential. In his twenties, he combined graduate work in poetics, translation studies, and philosophical hermeneutics with years of teaching creative writing and literature, while also training in yoga and Zen from Dallas to Woodstock to India. One early milestone came at age twenty-five, when he co-founded The Walden Institute, a venture devoted to the meeting ground of neuroscience, existential psychology, and the literary arts. A sharper turning point followed in 1999, when, dissatisfied with academic life, he left full-time teaching to begin working independently. ((https://trackingwonder.com/about/))
