Brad Stulberg is an author and coach who writes about performance, well-being, mental health, and sustainable success. His books include Peak Performance, The Practice of Groundedness, and Master of Change, which draw on psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy to make research on resilience and excellence accessible to athletes, leaders, and general readers.
Brad Stulberg has built his career at the intersection of performance, public health, and the search for durable excellence. Educated at the University of Michigan, where he earned a BA in 2008 and an MHSA in 2012, he came to these questions through two early tracks: a deep involvement in athletics and an academic interest in health and health systems. An early period in management consulting became a pivotal turning point. By his own account, the experience intensified both his drive and his encounter with burnout, pushing him toward a body of work focused on how people can strive ambitiously without collapsing under the strain.
