Pour s'améliorer, on peut utiliser des techniques comme "le judoka" (répéter un mot-clé de l'interlocuteur sous forme de question pour lui laisser la main) ou l'ouverture implicite (lancer une affirmation générale plutôt qu'une question directe). S'entraîner à imaginer des réponses décalées lors de situations sans enjeu aide à muscler ses réflexes pour les interactions réelles.

    En entreprise, l'humour doit être utilisé de façon bienveillante et chirurgicale, principalement à travers des récits d'anecdotes sur des situations absurdes partagées par tous. Cela humanise le cadre de travail et peut même augmenter la productivité en réduisant la peur de l'échec au sein des équipes. La règle d'or est d'éviter le sarcasme ou de cibler des individus, en privilégiant un humour qui élève les collaborateurs plutôt que de les rabaisser.
