This technique forces the brain to identify hidden risks and "availability" gaps that are often ignored during the initial planning phase.

What are some practical "drills" to improve critical thinking daily?

One effective drill is the "disconfirmation search," where you actively hunt for reasons why your own logic might be wrong rather than looking for evidence that you are right. Another is "steel-manning," which involves finding the strongest possible version of an opposing argument to test against your own.
