Why is Arm moving away from its traditional "neutral" business model?

For over thirty years, Arm operated as the "Switzerland of semiconductors" by licensing blueprints to other companies rather than selling physical hardware. Arm’s AGI CPU is designed for high-density efficiency, leveraging its history in mobile technology to deliver better performance-per-watt. The AGI CPU features 136 cores while drawing only about 300 watts, which is significantly less power per core than high-performance Intel Xeon processors.
