This regulation, managed by Sernanp, allows animals like Humboldt penguins and sea lions to carry on with their natural behaviors, such as nesting and breeding, without being stressed or disturbed by human presence.
The ideal time for a boat tour is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. During these morning hours, the sea is typically much calmer, which helps prevent motion sickness and provides better lighting for photography.
