マネル・ロウレイロ（Manel Loureiro）は、国際的なベストセラーとなった『Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End』の著者であり、スペインのホラーおよびゾンビ小説界を代表する人物です。1975年12月30日、スペインのポンテベドラに生まれたロウレイロは、サンティアゴ・デ・コンポステーラ大学で法学を学び、テレビのプレゼンターや脚本家として活動した後、専業作家に転身しました。
