Gaia Vince

ソーシャルリンク:

Gaia Vince is a British science writer and broadcaster focused on climate change, human evolution, migration, and the Anthropocene. She wrote Adventures in the Anthropocene, which won the 2015 Royal Society Winton Prize for Science Books, and Nomad Century, bringing environmental change and future displacement to a broad international readership.

経歴と著者の歩み

Gaia Vince is a British-Australian science writer and broadcaster whose work has consistently linked human stories to planetary systems. Australian-born and brought up between Australia and the United Kingdom, and coming from a family marked by postwar migration, she has often approached movement, adaptation, and belonging as lived realities rather than abstractions. Her academic training began in chemistry and physics, later extended into engineering and journalism, and she moved through senior editorial roles at Nature, Nature Climate Change, and New Scientist before becoming widely known as an author in her own right. That combination of scientific literacy, editorial discipline, and field reporting became the basis of her public voice.
