    “

The dream is a call to move from an inherited life to a created life, shifting from being a spectator of the past to being a maker of worlds in the future.

    Question posée

Interpret this dream. If I should choose to stay with my current situation or change paths in life. The dream was a field of flowers that my mother used to plant next to the house with a path in the middle. On the left the were flowers and on the right where used to be a well the soil was tilled but bare. Then came a Gardner and told me that the field was tilled and seeded and those flowers would be much nicer than the ones already planted and gave me a fist full of seeds

While an empty field might seem like a sign of loss or lack, in dream symbolism it actually represents a "clean slate" and absolute readiness for growth. Tilled soil indicates that you have done the necessary internal work to clear out old patterns and prepare "good ground" for new goals. According to dream experts, this imagery suggests an early rise in wealth, fortunate advancement, and the preparation of your life’s potential for a new chapter.

In symbolic traditions, the left side often represents the past, inherited legacies, and passive or receptive traits. The flowers on the left, specifically those planted by a mother, symbolize familiar patterns and the "inherited life" that provided comfort in the past. The right side is associated with the future, conscious action, and the will. The transition from the left-side flowers to the right-side tilled soil reflects a move from a life shaped by others to a "created life" shaped by your own agency.

The Gardener is often viewed as an archetype of the "Higher Self" or a divine guide who facilitates transformation. Unlike a passive observer, the Gardener is an active "maker of worlds" who provides the tools for growth. By handing over a "fist full of seeds," the Gardener is issuing a call to action. This signifies that while the potential for a "much nicer" future exists, the dreamer must take responsibility for planting and nurturing those seeds to bring that future to fruition.

A well typically symbolizes a deep, static source of inner resources or childhood memories. If a well has been replaced by tilled soil, it suggests a massive transition in how you sustain yourself. It indicates that your "delivery system" for spiritual or emotional nourishment is changing; you are moving from a period of contained potential to one of expansive growth. The energy once held deep within the well is now being redistributed to nourish the entire field of your life.
