Steph Nelson est l'auteure de The Final Scene, un thriller psychologique qui examine la survie, la captivité et la manipulation psychologique d'une femme piégée dans un jeu mortel. Nelson a commencé à écrire de la fiction alors qu'elle était déployée en Irak en tant qu'officier de santé comportementale de l'armée, utilisant la narration comme un exutoire thérapeutique pour traiter les stress psychologiques intenses de la guerre — une expérience qui façonne profondément sa capacité à créer des récits poignants et à enjeux élevés.
