À propos de l'auteur

Curtis Jobling est l'auteur primé de Rise of the Wolf, le premier tome de sa célèbre série de fantasy horrifique Wereworld, qui a été présélectionné pour le prestigieux prix littéraire Waterstones.

Né en 1972 à Blackpool, en Angleterre, Jobling apporte un mélange unique de narration visuelle et de dark fantasy à ses romans pour jeunes adultes, façonné par sa vaste expérience dans l'animation télévisée pour enfants. Il est surtout connu en tant que concepteur de production de la série Bob le bricoleur, lauréate d'un BAFTA, et créateur de séries animées appréciées telles que Frankenstein's Cat et Raa Raa le lion criard.

Son travail comprend également des contributions à des projets oscarisés comme Rasé de près de Wallace & Gromit. Au-delà de Wereworld, Jobling est l'auteur des séries Max Helsing et Haunt, et il est le parrain du Manchester Children's Book Festival.

Sa série Wereworld est actuellement en cours d'adaptation sous le titre Wolf King, une série animée pour Netflix, apportant son monde de Lyssia peuplé de loups-garous à un public mondial en streaming.
