Bolu Babalola est l'autrice britannico-nigériane à succès de Honey & Spice, une comédie romantique universitaire qui a remporté le premier prix TikTok Book of the Year. Née en 1991 et ayant grandi dans l'est de Londres, Babalola se définit elle-même comme une « Romcomoisseur » qui écrit des histoires d'amour audacieuses centrées sur des femmes noires dynamiques.
