Patrick Ness est l'auteur primé de Quelques minutes après minuit (A Monster Calls), un roman puissant pour jeunes adultes explorant le deuil, la perte et la guérison émotionnelle. Né en Virginie en 1971, l'écrivain américano-britannique a achevé cette histoire profondément émouvante à partir de notes laissées par l'autrice irlandaise Siobhan Dowd, décédée d'un cancer avant d'avoir pu la terminer.
