Gary Keller is an American entrepreneur and business writer focused on real estate, leadership, productivity, and business growth. He co-founded Keller Williams and coauthored bestselling books including The Millionaire Real Estate Investor, The Millionaire Real Estate Agent, and The ONE Thing, whose ideas have influenced agents, entrepreneurs, and management audiences worldwide.
Gary Keller did not set out to become either a real estate executive or a business author. As a recent high school graduate in the Houston area, he initially imagined a future in music, then arrived at Baylor University almost by accident and found a stronger direction. After shadowing an attorney, accountant, banker, and real estate agent, he chose the last, enrolled in Baylor’s real-estate program, and graduated in 1979 with a degree in marketing and real estate. He entered the Austin market immediately, advanced quickly, and within a few years co-founded Keller Williams, the company at the center of his career.
