Harold Athol Lanigan Fugard (1932–2025) war ein südafrikanischer Dramatiker, Romanautor und Schauspieler sowie der gefeierte Autor von Tsotsi, einem packenden Kriminalroman, der Themen wie Gewalt, Erlösung und Menschlichkeit im Johannesburg der Apartheid-Ära untersucht.
