Seine Werke, darunter das auf die Arbeitswelt fokussierte Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do und die Chronik der Großen Depression Harte Zeiten, untersuchen systemische Ungerechtigkeiten und Resilienz.
