Roger Moorhouse, Historiker und Autor von Killing Hitler: Die Attentäter, die Pläne und warum sie scheiterten, ist ein führender Experte für das nationalsozialistische Deutschland und den Zweiten Weltkrieg. Als britischer Historiker, der an der University of London ausgebildet wurde, verbindet Moorhouse akribische Forschung mit packender Erzählweise, um Themen wie Spionage, Widerstand und politische Intrigen zu untersuchen. Sein Werk Killing Hitler (2006) befasst sich mit den unermüdlichen Versuchen, den NS-Führer zu ermorden, und spiegelt seinen breiteren Fokus auf die mitteleuropäische Geschichte und totalitäre Regime wider.
