Jon Krakauer ist der Bestsellerautor von In eisige Höhen: Das Drama am Mount Everest und ein erfahrener Bergsteiger, der die katastrophale Everest-Expedition von 1996 überlebte, bei der acht Bergsteiger ums Leben kamen.
