Jeff Goins is an American author, speaker, and entrepreneur focused on writing, creativity, work, and calling. He is known for books including You Are a Writer, The Art of Work, and Real Artists Don’t Starve, which helped popularize practical advice for writers and creative professionals.
Jeff Goins is an American author, speaker, and entrepreneur whose work grew out of a Midwestern upbringing and an unusually indirect path into literary life. Born and raised outside Chicago, he graduated from Illinois College, where he studied Spanish and Religion and spent part of his junior year in Spain, an experience he has linked to a broader concern with purpose, service, and vocation. After college he spent a year touring North America with a rock band, then moved to Nashville and helped build the first marketing team at Adventures in Missions, an international development and relief organization. In 2012, he left that role to pursue writing, speaking, and entrepreneurship full time. ((https://www.moodypublishers.com/authors/g/jeff-goins/))
