Kate Quinn is an American historical fiction novelist whose work often centers on women in wartime, espionage, and the ancient world. She is best known for The Alice Network, The Huntress, and The Rose Code, and is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author whose novels have reached broad international readership.
Kate Quinn is an American novelist whose career has been shaped by a combination of historical curiosity and formal artistic training. A native of Southern California, she studied classical voice at Boston University, earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees while preparing for what had once been an intended career in opera. Writing, however, was already central to her life: Quinn has said that during her freshman year in Boston she drafted the historical novel that eventually became her 2010 debut, Mistress of Rome. That early stage joined musical discipline with a durable commitment to research-driven storytelling. ((https://www.katequinnauthor.com/about/?utm_source=openai))
